These files contain the binaries and header files of the LDAP C SDK from
www.mozilla.org. They are the same ones shipped with the Directory Server,
and as such contain a tiny bit of non-open source code (that we are in the
process of converting to open source), but feel free to use them anyway.

These binaries are not supported, and are provided as a convenience to the LDAP
community. The newsgroup news.mozilla.org:netscape.public.mozilla.directory
should be used to report problems. The files with the _debug in the name are
compiled with the debug flag and are suitable for use with the supported
debugger on the platform.
The following is a list of supported platforms. We cannot at this time provide
binaries for any other platform, but that may change in the future, so post
your suggestions to the newsgroup listed above.
Solaris 9 (32 bit and 64 bit) - compiled with Forte 6.2 - caution - may
not work with gcc executables - may not work with gdb
HP-UX 11.11 (32 bit and 64 bit)
Linux 2.4 (2.4 kernel - RHEL3) - known to work with RHEL3, should work with RHEL4, may work with other versions/distros
Windows NT4/2000/XP - compiled with MSVC6 or 7
